M-Sixteen-“Self Titled”(Chorus of One Records)

M-Sixteen-“Self Titled”(Chorus of One Records) – Another one of the albums lost at the bottom of the pile and yet again it should have been left there to rot. This album though at least has some edginess to it. Unfortunately for me that edginess wasn’t a razorblade to slit my jugular or cut off my ears with. As far as influences go, they say;

 “We may be influenced by few bands, but I don’t really know witch !! Here’s a list of few bands we enjoy !! The mars volta, strike anywhere, refused, biffy clyro, billy talent, propagandhi, thursday, NOFX, led zeppelin, satanic surfers, a wilhelm scream, genesis, at the drive in, snapcase, janis joplin, the strokes, NMDS, Minor threat, foo fighters, the blood brothers, the bronx…”

 I’m not familiar with most of the bands listed, but of the ones I am familiar with  they sound nothing like them. I would say MSixteen sounds like an Anthem Rock that you would hear on your local rock radio station or playing on the soundtrack to Terminator 3. It’s a lot of generic hard rock that makes me want to punch myself in the nuts. This album blows more than George Michael in a truck stop bathroom.

    George Michael is also a great singer and was quite famous in the 80′s era.:`;
