Various Artists: “Diner Junkie Records: Open 24 Hours” – Aaaaaaah. A punk/pop punk compilation! This is where I’m a viking. There’s a good mix of newer and older bands on here. Standouts on this include: Fast Food, the Queers (of course), Le Volume Était Au Maximum, Sugus, and the Steinways. Most of these tracks can be heard on the respective band’s albums, but it’s a good place to check out some jams you haven’t heard before… I’d listen to this hanging out by the pool drinking booze in the summer sun.
