Joey Cape recording a new album

News out of the Vinyl Collective camp is that Joey Cape began recording his follow-up to his debut solo album, “Bridge”.

In a recent Myspace blog, Joey wrote: Planning to record some of the songs I play live, Bad Astronaut, Lag Wagon. Also some new ones. So far so good. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I spoke with Jon Snodgrass who was flying back to Colorado yesterday after lending vocals on 9 new Joey Cape songs. Jon had fantastic things to say about how the new record is shaping up. Both Joey and Jon will continue taking over the world when they hit the West Coast together after playing at Suburban Home’s 14th Anniversary.
