The Vapids – “The Point Remains The Same EP“ 3/5 – [limited edition 7”] Much like the full length “The Point Remains The Same” full length from The Vapids in 2007, this three song album has a ton of edgy Rock-n-Roll influence with a deeper sound. Unlike “Charm School Drop Out” this EP has a lot more energy and more individuality. Like many of the other Vapids releases the song writing seems to follow a pattern and lyrically the songs are overly simplistic and loose my interest quickly. The Vapids just seem to be one of those bands I can listen to on an individual song basis only. Otherwise if I listen to more than a lone Vapids song at a time the songs get annoying.
