The Stun Guns – “Self Titled?” – Twelve songs (22.8 Minutes) of snotty, edgy. High energy, pop punk. The vocals sound similar to The Rich White Males, with a little more substance to the lyrics. The drum beats are standard, the bass line have more bounce than a trampoline, and the riffs have more hooks than a bait shop. There are a few filler songs, as there usually is with albums with more than 10 songs, but overall the entire album has enough substance and energy to keep the attention of the most A.D.D. listener. If you’re a fan of bands such as The Rich White Males, F.Y.P., Toys That Kill, or Turkish Techno I think you would enjoy The Stun Guns and this album.
