The Transgressions “Waste My Time” EP – Nice quick basic Weasel-core Pop Punk. Not one of the songs is over 1:30, so they stick and move 6 tracks in a blazing 6.3 minutes about the usual pop punk subjects. So nothing ground breaking (not that you expect anything group breaking from a Weasel-core band). The Transgressions don’t sound forced and allow the music to lead you to you own conclusions about their style. The Transgressions don’t over or under use Whoa Oh’s, Hey’s or any of the other often over-killed little added things that pop punk sounds are synonymous for.

Favorite song = “Bored” {1:03} – Punchy with great sarcastic lyrics and a rhythm you can dance too. Oh yeah … and featured on “Punk Rock Pot Luck Vol #3” [Total classless SPAM, sorry]
