The Allston Pants – “Weapons of Mass. Destruction” – If I could describe this band in one word it would be “MEH”. They’re fine I guess, their songs fundamentally sound. I don’t know it’s like their trying too hard to be “EXTREME” or something. Songs such as “Hungry Hungry Hipster”, “Coked Out Scenester Fuck”, and “Horror Business (The Store)” are all about how much these other people are hipsters and scenesters, but ironically the songs come off as a Pot calling the kettle black, with their almost Screamo vocals and cooler than thou demeaner. The sound of Allston Pants paints a picture of some “cool dudes” in girl pants and side swipe hair cuts, who would suck a dick to get on the Warped Tour main stage. I don’t know the act is just lame.
