News & Updates
Sorry for the lack of updates and news lately, we've been swamped with all kinds of cool stuff.
1st off we made our first donation from the "Barfights & Brokenhearts" compilation to Haven House. The donation was $250 so far and we will continue to donate for as long as the CD is being purchased. Thanks to everyone who bought this CD and we hope you like it as much as we do. Also thanks to all the bands and people who donated songs & efforts to make this happen.
2nd - We are excited to announce that we are joining forces with our friends at Jailhouse Records (www.jailhouse-records.com ) and co-sponsoring the upcoming Jailhouse Records tour which includes bands such as, Moral Crux, Teenage Rehab, The New Threat, Our Time, and a few others) Stop by www.jailhouse-records.com to get the full tour stops & dates.
3rd - As many of you are aware Jonny Taint has started writing reviews (along with Punk Rock Review) for a Great Website called Mohawk Radio (www.mohawkradio.com) . The website is similar to Myspace (adding friends, bands, etc..), but is aimed towards the punk rock community. They are currently running a contest to win an IPOD to the first person or band to get to 1000 friends. The website is a work in progress and has been improving its functions on a weekly basis. If you're in a band sign your band up its great exposure to people who are into the music you play and everyone else should create a profile and be part of a much cooler alternative to Myspace or Facebook (All Punk & No Spam).
4th - We've been receiving TONS of CD, records, MP3's to review, so we asked one of our friends to assist with some guest reviews. He's a good guy who plays bass in a Canadian Pop Punk band. Hopefully he'll stop drinking, watching Hockey, and growing facial hair long enough to get us the reviews in time for the next launch 11/19/07.
5th - Finally we want to thank DNA Energy drinks (www.dnaenergydrink.com )for sending us a ton their drinks. If you unaware of DNA they are a Florida based energy drink company, that's made by people and sponsors people of an alternative lifestyle. What does that mean? It means that they sponsor a skate team, Motocross riders, Wakeboarders, Tattoo artist, and a punk band (The New Threat).
DNA energy drinks are really good too. They don't have the normal chemical energy drink taste either. The Citrus tastes just like Sunkist Orange soda and the Lemon/Lime tastes like Mountain Dew. We have a few banners on our site and recommend checking them out.
