The Annoyers – “Seek and Annoy”

The Annoyers – “Seek and Annoy” Throaty lead vocals with excellent back-up vocals with enough ooo’s and ahhhh’s to satisfy even the snobbiest of pop punksters out there. The lead singer’s voice at times gets lost in the lead guitar and cymbal crashes, but that’s nothing a little studio adjustments couldn’t fix. The song “Bar Fight” hits you with everything but the kitchen sink from the pop punk arsenal of ooo’s & Ahh’s, passionate lead vocals, harmonizing back vocals & fuck you attitude.  I thoroughly enjoyed the energy and hooks of “New Tattoo”, “Barfight” & “Loss That Chick”, but did feel that a few of songs on this CD sounded like filler songs that didn’t produce enough hooks or energy to keep your attention.  All in all “Seek and Annoy” is a good cd & a nice addition to any pop punkster’s catalog of music.
