Moral Crux – “Boseman Live 2003 Limited Edition CD” – I was lucky enough to get #14 of 200 limited edition CD’s a couple weeks ago and was waiting in anticipation until I it was in my greedy little hands. If you’ve never heard this long time political pop punk band, then you’re 12 years old & new to punk or just an unlucky excuse for a fan of punk. There aren’t a lot of good politically charged pop punk bands, but if any can be half as good as Moral Crux, then there should be a lot more for us to listen to.
The CD isn’t the best when it comes to sound quality, but it is better then most live recordings. This was one hell of a song with a mix of 22 of their best songs. Moral Crux goes way back to some of their early songs, up until their most recent. It would be torture if I was forced to choose my favorite songs, so I won’t. If you get a chance to get a copy of this CD somehow, sell your blood if you must, it will be worth it. Plus the nice light headed feeling from the blood loss will be a bonus.
