How did The Green Goblins get started?
We started out four years ago, because we shared the same passion
about comic books, drinking, music and we wanted to pour out our energy and
our aggression in our music. We were playing in the basement of an
auto-repair shop and it was kinda weird. There were all these car parts around like
engines, exhausts, old tires and nothing there made you feel like you
were in a studio. The amps were crappy, the drums were crappy but back then
we were crappy too and we love cars, so this place finally became our
home.

Were any of you in bands prior to The Green Goblins?
Yeah. Two of us (dead_boy Moocash and The Lizard) were in a high energy
Rock 'n' Roll band called Reservoir Dogs and Cretin  played in a Garage Punk
band, The Cretins...

Tell Us About The Green Goblins.
Our priority has always been the gigs and we try to book as many as we
can. We play where ever we are welcome (and sometimes in places we are not)
anytime-anywhere! In these four years we’ve played with the Vibrators,
Fuzztones and Dead Moon in their last visits in Greece and with many
Greek bands too. A few weeks ago we played in Bulgaria (Sofia and Varna)
where it was great. Now we try to book mini tours. The first is in Germany and
then some other European countries, but it's kinda difficult when you get to
do everything on your own.

How would you describe The Green Goblins to a person who's never heard
of you?

Favorite place to play and why-
There is no favorite place. Any place we play is good.

Funniest thing you've seen at a show?
One Time while we were playing Die When you Die (GG Allin) A man
started running in the audience and came up on stage. As we kept playing the
song, he took out all of his clothes and started jerking off and show his ass
hole to the people. Funny thing is that the first band that played were
kinda young teens and their parents were there too, so by the end of the
song the place was half empty. We hope that when they got home they were still
allowed to play in a band...

Are you on a label? If so, who?
Yeah. We haven't sign or anything but we are on Swallow It All records.
We have two songs on a compilation (Rural Night Outs) which will be
released 1st of April 2007 and it compiles the Rock 'n' Roll history of our
home town. We are also going to start recording our first album (Dragstrip Queen)
in May which will be released around September 2007 by Swallow It All records.

Who are your favorite bands right now?
There are many great bands. Some of them we like are Rancid, Zeke, Lars
Frederiksen and the Bastards, Nine Pound Hammer, Dwarves and many
others.

Who writes your songs and how are you inspired to write them?
Most of the times someone comes up with the idea and we all work it
together 'till the song takes its last form. Sometimes we play a song for a few
times and then come up with a better idea and change it again.

When you play at a show are you all serious or do you just fuck around??                                                                                                                                             We are somewhere in the middle. The only pre-show ritual is drinking so
we are never all serious...

What's your favorite song that you play right now and why?
Die when you Die because every time we play it, people in the audience are
surprised to hear it and they always dance and scream and our friends
love it too.
