Anything that you’re excited about coming down the pike?
Just played with The Unlovables & Steinways, playing next week with The Queers, and Copyrights & Methadones in May. Playing with the best pop punk bands in the game, should be a very awesome time(s)

Since you released 15 minutes of lame, you’ve been touring a lot. What are the highlights and lowlights of the touring?
Highlights were definitely our last show of our December tour in Auburn, Indiana with The Goddamits, our show in Harrisburg PA at Smalls.....great venue to play there. Along with playing shows with our buds from Jersey The Sheckies and The Cheats in Pittsburgh. As far as lowlights, I'd have to say nothing much. We’re always down for having a good time at shows and partying it up.

During the touring you got to share the stage with some infamous acts, tell the readers about some of that.
Yeah, we’ve played with a ton of great bands....The Pink Lincolns were insane, The Dwarves likewise. The Adolescents.....the list goes on and on. We’re glad that we’ve been able to get upcoming shows with The Unlovables and Steinways, The Nimrods and Queers, and of course, The Copyrights and Methadones. Kick ass shows are coming and we are psyched to get out there and do it all over again.

Where did the name Hollywood Blondes come from?
It’s actually what the name of my first band, The Reynolds, was going to be called. It’s pretty much just because of an old NWA tag team of the same name. That and because we just love girls.

What was the deal with the accident you where in with the Johnnie 3 guys? What happened?
Uhhhh, well it was after our show with The Dwarves in Cleveland. I was driving and shit went out of control. Not my finest moment, but definitely a memorable one.

What do you have going on this summer tour wise?
Hmm, I know we are doing a weekend in July with The Lebowskis from Harrisburg, PA. Other than that mainly just local shows, maybe we will do a weekend somewhere else too

Was “Another girl” a true story song about one of you? (If so, how did it all go down?)
Ehhh, it’s not autobiographical, but I did date a chick for a hot minute who was into girls.

What’s your beer of choice?
I like free beer.

I read you have a new split coming out, tell us about that.
We’ve got something in the works with our buddies The Hi-life out of Orlando Florida. We’re waiting for the details to be ironed out, but we know whatever it is, it’s gonna be huge.

Any plans for a full length release anytime soon?
As far as that, after this split we are really focusing on that. We want a full length out and we want it soon. That’s our biggest priority in the future.

Favorite place to play and why-
Oh man, I love playing Harrisburg and New Jersey...mainly because of playing with The Lebowskis and The Sheckies respectively. We just hang out and party and there happens to be a show going on. Awesome bands.

Funniest thing you've seen at a show?
Maybe Billy having his cymbal fly off the stand or seeing his high hat fall up against the wall....mainly drummer malfunctions. That and I did see Todd cheats balls one night.

Most bizarre place you've played?
Maybe Pats in the Flats in Cleveland. It’s a great bar and Pat is an awesome lady, but it’s pretty bizarre. Also the UAW hall in Auburn, Indiana was pretty crazy, but our best show of the December tour.

Who are your favorite bands right now?
Ehhh, as far as pop punk bands it’s The Lebowskis, Sheckies, and our boys Johnnie 3. As far as other bands the standards are always great.

Who writes your songs and how are you inspired to write them?

Well I write the songs and as far as inspiration I just do what I want. I mean, I wrote a song about a porn star and bar hop. Whatever I wanna hear songs about, I write.

When you play at a show are you all serious or do you just fuck around??
Oh man, we are all about fun. We may seem too serious sometimes.....well I may seem too serious, but we just love hanging out with the other bands and kicking back some adult beverages.

What's your favorite song that you play right now and why?
My favorite may be "Bad Habit" or "Back and Forth". Bad Habit is a harder song that’s a sign of things to come with us and Back and Forth is just a blast to play live. It seems to be the one that people always talk about. Plus, it’s my favorite one I've written.

What do you do when you’re not playing music?
Work....well that and drink. Just hang out and bullshit and have fun.

What is your evaluation of the current punk scene?
As far as a scene near us, non-existent. Other than Johnnie 3 and The Beat Kids of Cleveland we are all that’s left. But there are tons of great bands out there.....most I’ve already mentioned ad nausea.

Who are your musical influences?
The usual: The Ramones, Lillington’s, Weasel, Queers, Wanna-bes, Sloppy Seconds, Riverdale’s......I happen to love Buddy Holly, The Boss, and The Beach Boys.

Any bands you really want to do a show with and why?
I really wanna do a show with all of the bands we are friends with....just one massive show that would be like one giant house party.

Who's the wildest and/or most bizarre band you've ever done a show with?
Without a doubt, X-ray Burns. Hahaha that guy is awesome.

What are your general thoughts on the world today?
It’s how it is. Adapt now or go the fuck home.

What's your favorite part of being in a band?
Partying.....there’s an underlying theme running here. That and meeting new people and bands and talking to people who like and dislike our stuff. Either way, we are out to have a good time.

Anyone you want to thank?
Well all the bands that we’ve played with and all the bands we will play with in the future....all the people who shelled out money or beers for cds or stickers....ummm everyone who’s inspired us and a girl named Shyra Dee.
