How did Pickled Dick get started?  We all met at a local brothel and  decided that instead of paying for sex, we could actually get girls/boys  to do things to us because we're in a band.

Were any of you in bands prior to Pickled Dick? Jhon was in The Everley Brothers.

Tell Us About your band... Pretty rubbish Green Day wannabees who can't get real jobs.

Describe The style of Pickled Dick? See above.

Favorite place to play and why?  The Underworld in Camden, London. There's 
always a good chance you'll get caught up in a fight outside, and you can  get crack real easy.
Funniest thing you've seen at a show? My guitar solos... other than that  we had 10 firemen turn up at a gig, they thought there was a fire, but we  just wanted them to strip for us.

Craziest place you've played? Dunoon - it was in the middle of nowhere 
right on the west coast of Scotland. We had to catch a ferry across to get  there.

Are you on a label? If so, who? We self-released our first 2 cd's on Don't
Rush Me Records.

Any good groupie stories?  Domb is A-sexual, and Jhon & I are in a  committed relationship with each other, so no.

Who are your favorite bands right now? Frenzal Rhomb, Green Day, The Click Five, zeropointsix.

Who writes your songs and how are you inspired to write them? Domb writes them all, alcohol inspires him.

When you play at a show are you all serious or do you just fuck around??
Well in between our choreographed jumps and the flicking of our jet black 
side partings/spinning of our guitars, we try to put 100% into playing badly.

Any pre-show rituals?  They tune their guitars and I down a shot of  Brandy!

Does or did any of you get stage fright? Jhons scared of stages that are
too high off the ground, he gets vertigo. Domb and I on the other hand are 
perfectly able to cope with such a frightening prospect.

What's your favorite song that you play right now and why?  Basket Case, 
definitely. It's just so meaningful.

What does it mean to you being in Pickled Dick? Having to sign on the dole 
and driving long distances to play for a bunch of cunts.

What do you do when you're not playing? We run a skydiving institute for 
the mentally retarded, sorry 'challenged'.

How do your families evaluate the fact that you're musicians and not
a banker or whatever? They pretend we don't exist.

What is your current evaluation of the current punk scene? It's
pretty > awesome isn't it? Without Pickled Dick I don't know what it would be
like.

Who are your musical influences (and please don't say Jonny Cash)?
Jonny Cash

Any bands you really want to do a show with and why? we were thinking
of  digging up Jonny Cash, and doing a show with him.

Who's the craziest band you've ever done a show with? Fandangle, man
those guys are wacky.

Has your style of music changed at all since the band started? If so, why? 
Nope not really, we still want to be Green Day.

Favorite Band of all time (from each band member please) Domb - Green
Day,  Jhon - Frenzal Rhomb, Nick - too many, I can't choose.

What are your general thoughts on the world today? If we dont start 
realising the awful effects of global warming, we will all be penguins  soon.

What's your favorite part of being in a band? Seeing Jhons wonderful naked
body every day.

How would you compare euopean punk rock to American punk rock? Well
Americans are fat innit.

What do European punks really think of American punks (not our stupid 
poilitics)? You're all cunts.

Are there any countries in Europe that you really like or hate and
why? 
Latvia, great place. lovely people, lovely views, i've never been there.

What country has the best looking women? I don't pay attention to that 
sort of thing.

Is there any type of traveling music circus like the Warped Tour in 
Europe? If so, what are your thoughts on it? travelling european
music circus?? It's called Pickled Dick and it's fantastic, everyone should
go see.

When you look into the crowd, what would you say are the kind of
people at  the shows? hippies, druggies, skydiving retards, ninjas and those
happy emos.

What's the most interesting non-music thing about you that others may not know? Well Jhon has a tattoo of a poo on his chest...

How did you come up with the name Pickled Dick? just take a look in Jhons trousers.

What makes Pickled Dick different from other bands? We're not
pretentious,  we don't have haircuts, we don't play music because it's popular.
